So far the only moments of political advocacy during these Oscars have come from Daryl Hannah and the documentary makers from "No Other Land." Pathetic that people with so much fame, fortune, global influence have so little courage. Absolutely pathetic.

Tis the season for helpful posts about what food shelves need so here's my advice:
If your kid's school is doing a Canned Food Drive or a movie theater is doing a special movie screening with a can of food in lieu of admission: give a can.
Otherwise: JUST GIVE MONEY.
