Maybe I'll try a thread instead of quote posting stuff !.....
Fixed the flashing egg and bouncing off ladders bugs - thankfully quite simple stuff....
Time for some proper level design, as some are just too damn hard/impossible (even without the DUCK !) 🙄

Here's a great video of the Retro Computer Festival 2025 event that @computinghistory.org.uk hosted last year. Myself, and lots of other game developers were there and you can see what we were showing the visitors!

This is a scam. Organized criminals are setting up multiple accounts and are preying on kind hearted people like yourself. Don't feel bad about not donating, rather you should block, report and get on with your day.
Follow the hashtag #SpotTheScammer for more information on these and other scams.

Firing on all cylinders! Even figured out the largely undocumented and slightly pathetic opl rhythm section.
For those of you not following along, that's the guts of a Brother AX15 typewriter soldered onto an AY psg, an OPL2, an (arm)SID and a Phillips SAA 1099, controlled by a Kawai Q80 sequencer 🤩

Ive just discovered Qmee has taken away cashing out to Paypal 😞 Further unverified information on Reddit claims the parent company will be sued if it does not get sorted out 😮

So I think that's 26(?) OPL registers mapped to MIDI CC controls. Might be a bit of bug hunting to do, some of them seem to do things sometimes and less so others, but whatever, it's progress.

A good share really does make a difference for a YouTube video, normally when I make a video on a #retrogaming device the views tank compared to my videos on #retrocomputing, but because Hackaday shared youtu.be/QMk79fnd0VE

it's doing better than either of my last computing videos.

This is so cool that this modern technology is still using cassette style load and save beeps and screechy noises! 😊

I’m exploring the SN76477. Heavily inspired by Thomas Henry, but with added MIDI in (with pitch bend and vibrato via the mod wheel). Next step is the envelopes, then the noise, and then a VCF…

The factory presets sound awesome! Its like going back to the 1980's and owning a Yamaha DX7 but Korg have made it more user friendly and tweekable. Going deep in to the parameters of the presets reveals more sound shaping possibilities.
