As a Patriots fan, I couldn't have asked for a better game against the Jets because it means we get to see Dobbs throw the ball for a little while now.

Reading & writing has kept me alive this year.

Somehow, it’s been my most productive year as an author.

Here’s a guide to what I’ve published in 2025, in case you’ve lost track.

Many thoughts on the @crkd.gg guitar for Fortnite Festival / Rock Band 4 but also haven't really given it more than a few hours of play yet. Just enjoying (and kinda shocked!) that I am playing rhythm games with a modern plastic instrument in 2025.

What an amazing gift to have gotten for Christmas.

Alright, I am (and have been for a few hours) officially on holiday time. World of warcraft is installed, updated, and ready for my two-ish week yearly ritual of being an MMO gamer.
December 24, 2025 at 2:16 AM
It's the day before our company holiday break and I am surprised it really took until 3PM for me to start feeling mentally checked out.

Did a lot of quiet work these last two days, but boy am I *ready* for some time off and away to relax, play games, and do some writing.
December 23, 2025 at 8:08 PM
I probably could have and should have taken the day off of work today, but what other day of the year is so perfectly quiet to be able to spend over 6 hours writing your self performance review and doing your peer reviews as well.

The amount of Diablo IV I’ve been playing this last week or so is… actually I do not think I should check nor say how much.

Reupping this – if you are someone with epilepsy or photosensitivity, how did the trailers during the Game Awards negatively impact you? Whether watching virtually or in person. I'm working on a piece for this very topic
Genuine question - if you are a disabled player with epilepsy or photo sensitivity, are these trailers negatively impacting you?

Congrats to all the winners and nominees tonight! And our biggest of thanks to folks who turned up on our picket line, took a flier or zine, or showed us support (either in person or online). The industry might be dead, but it is actively being reborn every day by the efforts of us: the developers.
