In 1990 Betsy Anderson, a 6 year old in WA, was tragically killed when she crossed too close to the front of her school bus and the driver didn’t see her; now, all school busses in the US have a safety arm or “Betsy Bar” to keep kids from walking too close.

The next 7 days: hosting a kid birthday party, one kid only has camp 3 hours a day, going out of town for a night so figuring out kid coverage coordination for my husband (don’t @ me about how he could do it, he does plenty), two closings, and leaving town with my kids at the end of the week. 😵💫🫠
