Children's wellbeing is the missing national measure. It's time for the government to #MeasureWhatMatters

TfL has long championed art and design in our capital, and poetry is no exception.

Great piece on sharing the power of the written word as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of Poems on the Underground ⬇️

This year has certainly been different - but surely that’s because we’re now more familiar with the format and know what’s likely to come next?

Still exceptional TV though. For the next series, keeping the #SecretTraitor secret for longer would be good.

#TheTraitors
I think we can disregard those articles saying that #TheTraitors had lost it.

I was @todayyearsold.bsky.social when I realised it’s “The Regent’s Park” and not just “Regent’s Park” 🤯

100% this 👇🏻 A genius move to have it on three times a week across January.
Silly, I know, but hard to overestimate how great #TheTraitors has become for getting us through miserable January. Proper public service broadcasting.

Great to welcome Home Office Minister Lord Hanson to @childrenssociety.bsky.social to meet colleagues working to disrupt young people being financially exploited, and share our youth voice report. A good conversation on how government can do more to safeguard young people from this type of harm.

I am appalled - like many - that X’s AI assistant is still able to manipulate and create explicit images of people.

Pleased the UK Government is talking about banning X. It is vital we take action to protect women and children.

X could face ban in UK over deepfakes, minister says
It comes after government urged Ofcom to use all its powers – up to and including an effective ban – against X.

#TheTraitors this week has been 🔥 As an entertainment show it is exceptional.

But it’s also a compelling social experiment full of human psychology, relational and group dynamics and manipulation.

Fiona is the epitome of a bad Traitor. But can Rachel survive? 🤔

I love @thetraitors.bsky.social - it’s exceptional TV. But it’s important to acknowledge the obvious racial bias - this article from @the-independent.com touches on this being a clear problem both for The Traitors and other reality TV shows. www.independent.co.uk/arts-enterta...
Even reality TV as brilliant as The Traitors can’t escape this troubling cliche
Yet again, minority ethnic players are being booted off in the early stages of ‘The Traitors’. Micha Frazer-Carroll looks at why this is becoming a bleakly predictable pattern

The #VAWGStrategy published today is a step towards addressing the horrifying scale of serious harm faced by women and girls.

We know that early action is vital, so we are pleased to see a focus on child sexual abuse and exploitation and the prioritisation of education.

Girls' mental health is getting worse.

With gender norms, academic stress and social media comparisons, the pressures are building.

Earlier this year, we held a workshop in Westminster to ask: What’s working? And what needs to change?

Today’s #Budget comes at a time when families are facing some of the hardest pressures.

We warmly welcome today’s decision to lift the two-child limit. It is the right thing to do and represents a significant course correction towards our system working for every child.

This week, we unveiled a new installation at our store in Newquay town centre to reflect young people's Christmas wishes.
