This was a great remake of an already great game and I highly recommend it to JRPG fans.

Mainly because PS1 was basically the first console to ever popularize videogames in Europe (especially Italy), most people haven't lived the SNES era of these masterpieces.
If it wasn't for the emulator (ZSNES my beloved) I wouldn't had a chance.
I have no regrets though. Best way to start FF imo.
