one thing i’ve noticed about my own writing (conversationally and in storytelling) is that the more passionate and excited i am about something the more i will repeatedly cycle through multiple adjectives one after another to really instill my point

writer Kieron Gillen has talked about how one of his goals with THE POWER FANTASY was to make each issue end with a bombshell to drop on the reader and i genuinely think that series is a masterclass in escalating tension and reveals in a way that ALWAYS feels exciting, earned and fresh. i love it
