I took this course a few years ago, and it gave me a whole new perspective on phonetics in interaction. If you're interested in phonetics and conversation analysis, I highly recommend it!

Is getting a PhD like driving? After passing your test, you can drive (mostly safely), but you’re not great at it right away (I almost crashed in the first week). Now, five years later, I’m a decent driver—so, will I peak here or am I still improving? If it’s not like driving, what analogy fits?
