The foxgloves in this rewilded corner of the Lake District are growing much more profusely than I remember (maybe it's just this year?) They're lining every path and wall, and poking up through the bracken as far as the eye can see. Also surprised to find a

Up in this rewilded corner of the Lake District we're still just a little bit too early forthe harebells to beout. I found only one - but amazingly did find some old watercolor studies that must have been done ~40 years ago by my grandmother. #flowerreport #naturewriting
