During the Shutdown, folks should reflect that one party wants to take govt healthcare subsidies away. The other decided a good health plan was to pay 75% of grossly inflated premiums to middlemen (private insurance companies) with no caps. Voters should demand more.

I think Trump's tariffs will only hurt the working class, but it's interesting that elites are now frankly & proudly declaring that the U.S. economy *should* keep relying on offshoring production & replacing American workers with indentured servants in authoritarian countries.
