There is now a full speed Gameboy emulator for PlayDate!
It’s very polished, with sound support, and lots of options. It even supports using it as a wrapper for devs to release homebrew GB games on PlateDate.

For the record my setup has zero synthesis/ no sequencing/ no envelope generators / no loops / no LFO and no oscillators - every sound you hear (besides the recent introduction of pop song vocals ) is 100% glass

When I was in Computer Music College I was pretty sure I was doing composition wrong as a purely intuitive moron. Then I saw an elderly composer guy feed a script into the computer synthesizer we worked on and it spat out howling noise while he laughed and laughed. Turns out I was on the right track

Managed to cobble together a eurorack synth case from an old ikea desk I dismantled this weekend. I’ve got 2 out of the 3 pairs of 84hp rails installed and have enough blank panels to last over the holidays. Even managed to build an attenuverter! Feeling good :)
