It’s gonna be four fucking long years. (Hopefully no more.)

We can do this, though. We have to.

1. Keep yourself informed on as many issues as you can. Check ALL your sources. Share credible info widely.

2. Pick one or two key issues to focus your energy on. If you can, volunteer and/or donate.

I would like to know why people aren’t allowed to speak to truth about someone just because that someone was murdered. What happened to Kirk was horrible and should be condemned. It is also true that in life Kirk was nasty, divisive, racist, misogynistic, pro guns and harmed a lot of people. Facts.
MSNBC has fired political analyst Matthew Dowd after his comments on the killing of Charlie Kirk.

Here's a few of those things

It would be irresponsible not to assume that the amount of violence the president, intentionally or not, will be prone to urging his most unstable followers to embark on...in retaliation for the assassination of Charlie Kirk...is something every U.S. citizen should hold in their mind as high risk.

Part of what keeps America so violent is the insistence that people perform care, empty goodness and absolution for white men who espouse hatred and violence.

I’d never celebrate murder. Never.

But he promoted violence.

He celebrated violence.

He encourage violence.

And he was met with violence.

Funny—the more I let go of “traditional values,” the freer, happier, & more peaceful I feel. And I’ve not hurt anyone in doing so.

Almost like “traditional values” is code for “let’s force everyone into a claustrophobic box of conformity bc I’m uncomfortable questioning it so no one else can.”

The other day, fb showed me a funny post from a childfree by choice humor page. The next day, I decided to peek at some more humor, so I searched “childfree humor.”

Now I’m being bombarded by nothing but ads for fertility treatments, cribs, and baby care items.

Wtf, fb? Can’t read your audience?

One of the things I truly don’t understand about pushback against childfree by choice people is that there is no shortage of people wanting to have kids. In fact, the majority of people do want kids.

We aren’t a threat to survival or anyone’s desire to have kids. Why are we perceived as such?

I loathe that the anti-trans agenda is promoted as “protecting women.”

If they wanted to protect women, they wouldn’t be pushing for abortion bans/restrictions, taking away no-fault divorce, removing domestic violence protections, eliminating DEI, and avidly trying to prevent us from voting.

Remember the fact that same-sex marriage doesn’t make different-sex marriage any less valid?

Trans women being women doesn’t make me any less of a woman.

Bigots believe the only way they can feel validated is by attempting to invalidate the existence of other people.
