TLDR:
Virtual reality offers a different experience to most other images. Yet VR also often contains elements that distinguish it from regular perception, which can help prevent harms!

@kermodeandmayo.bsky.social did I miss “Deep Cover” review? Or is it too new/too streaming-y?

I thought it was a total riot. Haven’t laughed that hard at a film since… Booksmart, maybe?

This museum is the state of the art imo.

Colour me completely unsurprised. But if third terms are on the table then perhaps Obama should be warming up.
President Trump did not rule out the possibility of seeking a third term in the White House, which is prohibited by the Constitution under the 22nd Amendment, saying in an exclusive interview with NBC News that there were methods for doing so and clarifying that he was “not joking.”

President Donald Trump said in a Sunday-morning phone call that he was “not joking” about a third term, adding that “it is far too early to think about it.”

Not scientific, as he says, but this is uncomfortably plausible re: twitter manipulation.
Last month I did a little experiment.

I wanted to see how the exact same post would perform on both X (Twitter) and Bluesky.

The results were...interesting...
