Urgent trans and nonbinary update: I called a passport office and got a sympathetic rep who told me officially any information about gender markers is posted online. Unofficially, they *literally whispered,* they have heard the same rumors about passports being confiscated.

I think a lot of the issues with the Two Genders business is that people can’t sit with discomfort. the average person can’t fucking stand that and I think it’s a major personality flaw of the average person. The idea that there could be more out there is beautiful to me and horrifying to them.
