If a teacher has made a positive difference in your life, let them know.

It's one of the most moving ways to help them see that flowers have bloomed in their footsteps.

Parents, PLEASE check your kids’ Halloween candy this year. I just found atoms in this candy bar that were formed during BIG BANG NUCLEOSYNTHESIS, and many more that were the result of earlier generations of stars exploding as POWERFUL SUPERNOVA. Parents need to know about this dangerous trend!!

I started this project a zillion years ago when I wanted to do a cave art pin set. Since my country is a dumpster fire that's not happening, but I DID finally finish the Megaloceros. #bskynightmarket #paleontology #anthropology #archaeology

Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:

Our funding depends on usage.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.

Unexpected guest for dinner. Seemed keenly interested in my vase of flowers. Moved the flowers to the open front door. She took one last inspection of the hydrangea and exited, only to roost just a few feet from the door. Hope she wasn't too traumatized. #burb

The Senate’s version of the Big Ugly Bill raises taxes on wind & solar energy.

This will increase utility bills, kill thousands of jobs, and make our electric grid less reliable. (Oh, + gives handouts to the fossil fuel industry.)

Just another reason to stop this horrible bill.

The imagery coming out of the Swiss glacial collapse is absolutely stunning.

Scientists who closely monitor the area had the town evacuated, and only one person is listed as missing.

90% of the town is gone.

Global warming caused the retreat and eventual collapse.

Thank God they listened to 🧪

This is incredible. Damn, I love intelligent innovation.

THIS is why science matters, y'all. Education is not our enemy. The loss of personal freedom by people with fascist, authoritarian motivation is.

Know your enemy.
