It's publication day for my book, and all I can say is that it feels nothing like I thought it would. I am now, however, fully into my shameless self-promotion era, so prepare yourself for way more of my bullshit.

A TBR so good I hardly know where to start. And yes, if you would like to receive a Japanese woodblock print note card, I will definitely send you one.

I like how the news will be like “while the President claiming Portland was ruled by a giant skeleton named Mr Nibbles is not strictly true, it does speak to the anxiety of many Americans”

The Virginia race for Attorney General boils down to:

You're a pussy!
Uh-uh, you're the pussy!
You can't call me that, I'm gonna tell my dad!
Go ahead and tell him, my dad can beat up your dad!
No he can't!
Yes he can!
You're such a pussy!
You are!

Scammers, I do appreciate your need to sell me overpriced services I don't need. But in the future, please take a moment to make sure you get the title of my book right.

Your semi-regular reminder that, yes, I wrote a book and it is available for purchase in at least one bookstore. Now back to the world on fire.

Confusing things in this life:

Barabbas was the prisoner pardoned by Pontius Pilate instead of Jesus.

Carrabba's is a chain of Italian eateries based in Florida.

I feel it is important to keep them straight, though the idea of a chain restaurant based on the life of Barabbas is amusing.

Confusing things in this life:

A Jeroboam is a large wine bottle that holds the equivalent of four standard wine bottles.

A Jerboa is hopping desert rodent with large ears and a tail common to North Africa and Asia.

Hope this helps.
