I’m not the first to observe this, but: Mike Johnson functions as a staffer to Donald Trump, not as a speaker of the House. He has made this august, important role teeny-tiny. He is smaller than Stephen Miller and the like. It would be pitiable if it weren’t so consequential.

The overwhelming majority of Americans hate Trump's guts. Any normal person would react, well, normally. Not Trump. He has spent his entire life being hated and, as a result, has developed some really twisted and dangerous coping mechanisms. He'll burn down the country before he ever gives in.

I will never vote for a Republican again. I love America, know it will never be perfect snd understand we are better today than we ever have been. I don’t want to go back, I refuse to ignore the active racism, the partisanship, and the focus on those with everything.

As reporters continue to find not only unredacted names of victims but sexually explicit images of them among the Epstein files released by DOJ, it is glaringly obvious that Bondi DOJ was MUCH more careful about protecting the identities of pedophiles than those of their victims.
