Throwback to when the first series of The Night Manager started and three of the major TV listings mags used basically the same image on their covers.

Just watched the first two eps of #WonderMan and it’s lot of fun. I particularly like the way Ben Kingsley’s resume mirror’s his characters.

Here’s Bob Cratchit’s 77 minute walk from his home in Camden Town to his job in Cornhill. I wonder if he ever stopped in that Costa next to Mornington Crescent to buy himself a flat white?

The War Game is incredible cinema. Won the Best Documentary Oscar, which suggests to me not that Academy voters are stupid and thought it was real, but that they couldn't deny this mf of a masterpiece but couldn't figure out how else to give it its flowers
Images from the films of the remarkable director Peter Watkins - RIP

The War Game (1966)
La Commune (Paris, 1871) (2000)
Privilege (1967)
Punishment Park (1971)

Ha! I was just at this.
Perfect double-bill that could only be improved by them both playing under their UK titles.
