I was a good Christian homeschooling bread-baking mother-of-nine, excommunicated 7 years ago from Bethlehem Baptist (John Piper’s church) for divorcing my abuser of 25 years. It inoculated my kids against abusive misogynist theology, and for that I’m thankful. #excommunicationperks
