Communities surrounding Webster Outlying Field are advised that a low altitude aircraft flight test events is scheduled to take place Feb. 4, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these operations.

NAS Pax River is in FPCON Charlie and Gate 2 is closed until further notice in response to the Citadel Shield-Solid Curtain Exercise.

Please utilize Pax River Gate 1 for inbound/outbound traffic during this time.

NAS Patuxent River's Pass and ID/Visitor Control Center next to Gate 2 will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 3 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for a security exercise.

Following morning rush, Pax River’s Gate 1 will close to all traffic from 9:30 a.m. to noon for further maintenance. Drivers should use Pax River’s Gate 2 during that time.
