I can’t believe EA is going to such lengths to annihilate the value of The Sims IP. It’s upsetting as a player, but even from a business perspective it’s crazy that they’re turning such a distinct, fun and beloved game into a generic, AI-driven mobile brainrot

I'm gonna be real with you. I don't watch Inzoi, ACNH, SV, or any other non-sims content from sims youtubers. I won't watch Paralives content either. I don't consider myself a cozy gamer or a life simulation gamer. I have zero interest in life-sims outside of The Sims. For me, The Sims is a category

guilt tripping folks to drop their main source of income, sending threats to the devs of the sims team is NOT okay. im sure that all the employees at maxis are nervous about this buyout like everyone else in the community. The higher up at EA are the ones the blame!
The finger pointing at your peers is not the finger to follow. The focus should be on EA. Whether your concern is the buyout, the bugs, or the negativity. These all have a shared cause. EA. You have more in common with the person you're trying to take down on the internet than with a 55billion corp.

there's truly no way to escape these scummy rich people. the clothes that we wear, the devices we own, the media we consume, we have no idea how many people were exploited during that process.
Wow when you start to investigate you dig up things you didn’t know before. The same lead investor who bought EA is also lead investor of Unity a software that is used by games like Paralives, Pokémon Go, Subnautica etc. It seems you can’t escape them. 😩
