I spoke to Politico about the Harris campaign continuing to accept recurring donations. My take: It’s fine if the funds go to the DNC or another committee and are actively used to elect Democrats and fight Trump—but they need to be transparent with donors about where the money is going. 👇

i think this is right and i will observe that this is essentially the position the court took in plessy v. ferguson, which held that the constitution has no bearing on inequalities of social power
There is a stance I will call "Kavanaugh neutrality" that says the Constitution is "neutral" between vulnerable people and the power of the state and so we will watch and shrug while the vulnerable are beaten up in our presence. #Skrmetti

I used to volunteer as a high school for a literacy program - I loved kids and thought helping them would be really fun and make a difference. I taught full grown adults. Not English as a second language speakers, just adults who never learned to read in school.
