The orders for this attack were illegal. It was unconstitutional to follow them. There must be consequences.
Every single member of the military chain of command involved in this insanity should stand trial for war crimes alongside Trump. Perhaps that would focus the minds of some of these generals with respect to obeying the law.

Wars require funding. Only the congress has the power to appropriate funding for war.

Cheney & Rumsfeld convinced President Gerald Ford to continue the Vietnam War.

It ended because congress told the president that it would no longer fund the military and equipment to continue actions in Vietnam

Venezuela opposition reports the so called "capture" of Maduro was a negotiated deal between Maduro and US for an agreed exit strategy. We reported in November that this would be the case. The US bombed Venezuelan service members as part of a death theatre. #VenezuelaInvasion

Excellent question.
If Xi Jinping invaded Taiwan right now, and toppled the president there, on what grounds would the United States object? Or have any credibility to say anything?

Fair warning:

If you don’t want to see a LOT of get out the vote content this year, I’m probably not a good person to follow.

My goal for 2026 is to help hand the GOP the largest midterm loss in history.

We’re going to make 2018 look like a small trickle.

He's using the CIA as an end-run around Congress. Trump installed Michael Ellis as General Counsel of the CIA back in September and got him to write a memo saying these attacks are legal. Ellis was part of the group that hid the "perfect" phone call with Zelenskyy that led to Trump's 1st impeachment
That’s a serious escalation, and we've heard nothing about it from our own government.
