Hi peeps. Have taken some time off from social media, my employer let me take a family leave of absence. My gran passed away after a long illness. She had such a wonderful life and was always cheerful until the last minute. She’s the reason I became a nurse and then a teacher of that profession.

I’m visiting my grandparents after work today and watching MSNBC with my grandma. We were both quiet and then she said; my great grandfather was a Lincoln republican an advocate against slavery. He helped with the Underground Railroad in Indiana. That’s all she said after watching the news.

There were only two witnesses in the Epstein grand jury; further confirmation that AG Bondi asking for transcript release is nothing but a smoke screen: wapo.st/3GPfVjn
Epstein grand jury transcripts include testimony from only two witnesses, feds say
The disclosure raises questions whether the Justice Department’s attempts to unseal the transcripts will satiate the appetite for more information.

So, we destroyed millions in food designed to feed starving children and now we're destroying millions in contraceptives obviously designed to help females in poor countries have children they can't afford to feed. This administration is so bad.

The U.S. is destroying $9.7 million in contraceptives. Is there another option?
This planned destruction of birth control devices is part of the dismantling of USAID services — and is linked to allegations by the government that cite abortion. Critics are speaking out.

i was raised alongside my uncle who thrived in life with Down syndrome

he was brighter, kinder, and better than the maggots using this term

This country acts like it likes entrepreneurs and then pulls away the health insurance entrepreneurs need to be self-employed.

They don’t want entrepreneurs. They want slave labor. Work for them or die.

What a fucking joke.

Read the thread.
If this doesn't terrify you, I don't know what to do.

Also, anyone who is afraid of "Government controlling your healthcare" after listening to these two clips needs to give their head a shake.
A U.S. surgeon trying to have a “peer to peer” consultation with a doctor at a health insurance company who is hiding his identity as her patient gets denied coverage. And it gets worse from there. You have to see it to believe it.

8 million more uninsured and everyone still on Obama Care paying 75% more. That hits in Jan 2026. If you’re poor (Medicaid) or old (Medicare), it’s delayed until after the midterm votes.

This year, instead of talking about rising drug costs or hospital charges, insurance companies were talking about federal policy, Cox says. "Pretty much every insurance company is talking about the expiration of enhanced premium tax credits in the ACA markets."

Every American should read this ACLU lawsuit about what is happening in Los Angeles and California. It is the stuff of dystopian nightmares. This is not immigration enforcement. It is positively stuffed with videos and articles documenting racial profiling on a scale unseen since Jim Crow.
