Very disappointed in the Discord thing today. I don't know how much it'll affect me because my account is 9 years old and my activity doesn't really suggest I'm a kid but I'm definitely not doing any kind of age verification, especially with the data leaks they've had before.

One of my pet peeves is environmental / animal rights activists that clearly never think of anything from an ecological perspective. To maintain healthy ecosystems or repair ones damaged by human behavior, sometimes you are ethically mandated to kill things, even things you find cute.
Discovering to my dismay that apparently there's a movement of people crusading to...save the invasive mule deer destroying Santa Catalina Island because...deer are cute, I guess? Truly, vibes-only treehugger environmentalism will be the death of us all.
