You know that after Trump’s checkup today at Walter Reed they’re going to trot out some lackey who’s going to say that he’s a physical specimen and a medical marvel.

Pete and the boys knocked off another Venezuelan boat, did some pull-ups, and went out for drinks.

An American President messing with free elections because the leader of Russia told him to, is what we call a Russian Agent.

While the entire saga is incredible and memorable, the first book remains the best of them all.
I’m reading The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time in ages. There’s such an earnest loveliness to the writing, of a kind you don’t really see anymore. It’s sad to say, but I think if someone wrote a book like this in 2025, it would be lambasted as overly sentimental and “cringe.”

Has the Epstein thing replaced QAnon or is that still a thing too?
The MAGA implosion over Epstein was confusing to me but David French made it all clear. Pathetic but this is the kind of thing they care deeply about.

I never thought Trump would actually go to jail but if a few more Republicans, like Mitch McConnell, had voted to convict in the second impeachment trial, a lot of this could have been avoided.

Today proves that Republicans were serious about one promise: to cut taxes for the wealthy. All the rest was bullshit.

This is what I mean. You vote against the interests of your constituents because you get a signed MAGA hat. Lemmings.
As Shawn McCreesh and Tyler Pager report, House Republican holdouts were apparently swayed to support President Trump’s tax and spending bill by signed merch and photographs with the president.

I take no pleasure in saying this but if you really thought enough Republicans would say no to Trump, you’re not paying enough attention to the allure of the cult.
