This is me. People often ask me why I’m deep diving into so many history podcasts. How could you not? How can we understand things today without the past? My fave party topic? Telling you about Dust Bowl. Currently deep diving into WW1 after a recent Vienna trip.

The Local holds so many memories for me. And while, sure, we should have new things in the city… I also want something that just feels comfortable. So glad they’re here to stay. My words! 👇🏼

My house has been two different paint coats since the tree incident. It’s all I thought about. The painters just finished and my house looks like one house and I got emotional. She’s perfect. 🥹🥹🥹🥹 Every little thing feels like closure after the tree trauma.

19 days after this proclamation… things have turned around!!!!! More soon.
After a 2-month hiatus, I went back to full-time job hunting this week. It’s been 3 days and… I should’ve stayed in my hiatus 🥴

I know that we all praise the great “Mad Men” pandemic watch. It was perfect. But my rewatch of “The Americans” in 2023!? It’s climbing the charts. The relationship between Keri Russell + Matthew Rhys is like watching a perfect waltz.

Threads feels like a big corporate hellthread. Just full of brands, bluechecks & bullshit all the way down. I’m gonna let it cure a bit, age it under some cheesecloth in the fridge, ferment, get a skanky little patina on it, then I’ll check it out.
