I constantly listened to the songs and music of Fairly OddParents growing up (much to my parents chagrin) which likely contributed a great deal to my love of big band jazz. Guy Moon will be missed.

Dude had one of the most distinct sounds in all of TV animation, and he was one of few modern composers who implemented the Looney Tunes approach to scoring where he would time musical cues to characters reacting and moving, on top of making all the background music.

RIP Guy Moon, the composer for several series, including Fairly OddParents (and the rest of Butch Hartman's work), 2 Stupid Dogs, Cow and Chicken, Ned's Declassified, Big Time Rush, Back in the Barnyard, and many more.

Man this is really unfortunate to hear. When it came to composers, Guy Moon was is the bread and butter when it came to the music side of Nickelodeon. I grew up with Fairly Oddparents, so seeing part of that DNA go Is sad. Rest In Peace Guy Moon I hope your still making music from the clouds above.
