2/2 - the metal kids I knew all post horrendous MAGA shit online. They fall for every fake conspiracy they hear on a podcast. Why? Because their music scene was served to them.

1/2 - Why are former punk kids liberals? Sure we met ppl from diverse backgrounds at a young age. Sure the music had anti-facist messages.
But most importantly, we had to find the bands, shows, and scene ourselves. Where it didn’t exist, we had to build it ourselves.

It should be that taking the oath of office is the equivalent to swearing in to the witness stand. From the moment you join congress to the moment you leave, you are under oath and anything you say is subject to perjury.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.
