It's easy to use social media to spout off about archaeology.

It's harder to spend 12 mos. digging in archives to find documentary films made about actual archaeology, get them digitized, cut together, and shared on the Internet to show folks what real archaeology looks like

It never ceases to amaze me how select cases of full professors deciding to leave the U.S. for a university abroad merit more attention than the adjunctification of higher education and the complete erosion of tenure-track openings.

Whelp….I survived the pandemic, Delta variant, and all the waves.

But today, finally, I was diagnosed with Covid (after 4 days of the absolute worst flu and strep symptoms I’ve ever experienced)

Started showing symptoms shortly after returning from #saa2025.
