it’s pure intimidation but not, I think, an indication that they’ll be able to move an indictment forward. The FBI can request an interview with anyone, there’s no requirement to comply with the request

This comes as it was announced today that ICE will be deploying tactical teams to 5 cities in the US to assist in “mass deportations”
