I love my state!

THIS is Minnesota.

Thank you @governorwalz.mn.gov for your leadership.
Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

I think we all need this today.
Sometimes you just need a basket full of baby otters to make your day complete. Oh, look what I found! You can thank me later....

The Whipple Federal Building that ICE is using to detain and terrorize people is named in honor of Bishop Henry Whipple, the first Episcopal Bishop of Minnesota. He was a humanitarian and advocate for Native Americans. What is going on in the building that bears his name disrespects his memory.

What more will it take to get you to remove trump from office?

They think they can convince us not to believe what we have seen with our own eyes.

They think we will accept whatever they say as truth without question.

They think we’re stupid.

They are wrong.

Renee Good came to Minneapolis seeking a safe place. Less than a year later, she was killed.
After years as a military wife, Good was starting over when an encounter with ICE agents cut her new life short.

Wow. That might be the worst Vikings game I’ve ever seen.

Really, really sad.
I’m not giving up on the Vikings, but they’re making me sad.

@klobuchar.senate.gov Why aren’t you condemning Trump calling for the murder of your democratic colleagues & calling a female reporter Piggy?

This!👇
The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted 381 days.

Black people walked, rode bikes, car pooled or took cabs but they did not ride the bus.

They suffered, sacrificed and endured. There was personal and professional pain.

For 381 days.

These eight Senators didn't last 41 days.

Wow. So glad that @kaine.senate.gov can sleep at night. My anxiety is through the roof about this but as long as he is resting well, apparently that’s more important than my silly health insurance.
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

The democrats are being played once again if they think the republicans will negotiate. I am so sick of these “centrist democrats” who try to play bipartisan politics with these republicans who have no intention of giving an inch. I’m looking at you @klobuchar.senate.gov, @schumer.senate.gov
Speaker Johnson has literally said he's "not promising anyone anything."

For once, I believe him.
November 10, 2025 at 6:54 PM
@klobuchar.senate.gov let me get this straight. We know that you stand with @schumer.senate.gov who was behind the vote caving to the republicans. Spare us your moral outrage about SNAP while you give the republicans what they want & get nothing in return. We’re not stupid.
Yet again, the administration chooses not to feed hungry Americans.

This is the very definition of callous. They could just follow the court order and do it.

And right on cue, the democrats money-ask email arrives this morning. Unbelievable. Do they really think I’m going to give them a dime after that betrayal?
November 10, 2025 at 3:35 PM
I’m feeling exhausted and angry by the senate vote, but not surprised. Something changes these people when they get to Washington. They forget who they work for. Power becomes more important than service. It’s sickening.
November 10, 2025 at 4:11 AM
We have protested. We have voted. We have made clear what we stand for. Shame on the Senate.
What is happening in the Senate tonight is a travesty and betrayal for every person who depends on ACA subsidies.
