@klobuchar.senate.gov Why aren’t you condemning Trump calling for the murder of your democratic colleagues & calling a female reporter Piggy?

This!👇
The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted 381 days.

Black people walked, rode bikes, car pooled or took cabs but they did not ride the bus.

They suffered, sacrificed and endured. There was personal and professional pain.

For 381 days.

These eight Senators didn't last 41 days.

Wow. So glad that @kaine.senate.gov can sleep at night. My anxiety is through the roof about this but as long as he is resting well, apparently that’s more important than my silly health insurance.
Tim Kaine on backlash he's getting: "I got the first good night's sleep last night that I've gotten since Oct 1, b/c I wasn't worried about being able to look Capitol Police in the eye when I walked in, or what a furloughed fed worker would say to me at church, or what somebody would say about SNAP"

The democrats are being played once again if they think the republicans will negotiate. I am so sick of these “centrist democrats” who try to play bipartisan politics with these republicans who have no intention of giving an inch. I’m looking at you @klobuchar.senate.gov, @schumer.senate.gov
Speaker Johnson has literally said he's "not promising anyone anything."

For once, I believe him.
November 10, 2025 at 6:54 PM
@klobuchar.senate.gov let me get this straight. We know that you stand with @schumer.senate.gov who was behind the vote caving to the republicans. Spare us your moral outrage about SNAP while you give the republicans what they want & get nothing in return. We’re not stupid.
Yet again, the administration chooses not to feed hungry Americans.

This is the very definition of callous. They could just follow the court order and do it.

And right on cue, the democrats money-ask email arrives this morning. Unbelievable. Do they really think I’m going to give them a dime after that betrayal?
November 10, 2025 at 3:35 PM
I’m feeling exhausted and angry by the senate vote, but not surprised. Something changes these people when they get to Washington. They forget who they work for. Power becomes more important than service. It’s sickening.

We have protested. We have voted. We have made clear what we stand for. Shame on the Senate.
What is happening in the Senate tonight is a travesty and betrayal for every person who depends on ACA subsidies.

This is so important! Kudos to the Colts for really being out front in addressing mental health issues thru their Kicking the Stigma campaign. Makes this #Vikings fan proud. More teams need to get involved!
In uniform, they look like superheroes. Under it all, they're human. Colts tackle Braden Smith (no. 72) has dealt with severe mental-health issues. He's leading the charge for changes that will make quick, easy, and reliable care available to all players.

How many of us visited The White House as children or adults? Entering through the beautiful & majestic East Wing of the People House? How can we let one small, petty man literally destroy most beloved symbol of our democracy? We the ones to raise our voices in outrage b/c our electeds will not.
October 23, 2025 at 5:18 PM
This is sickening.
The White House is asking people not to share pictures of the East Wing because it’s even worse today.
October 22, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Right this moment, this is how I feel: no matter how much djt sh*ts on us, no matter how much he destroys The White House, no matter how much hate he spews, he’s not going to win. Because he’s never going to get the approval he so desperately wants. He’s just a pathetic, sick, petty, weak, old man.

Today is World Mental Health Day

Everyone has negative emotions and struggles at times. There’s no need to pretend to be happy or to feel shame about not having everything under control. No one has it all under control all the time. If you are struggling, talk to someone; it could save your life.🧡

Just saw a recruitment commercial for ICE to help capture “the worst of the worst”. I had no idea that children in Chicago, zip tied in the dark of night, were the worst of the worst.

God help us all.

It’s been a rough month, both mentally and physically. But I think I’ve turned the corner. Here’s to resilience. And in case you need to hear this: you’re stronger than you think!
