No one is saying that Maduro is anything other than a terrible person, but absconding with a leader of another nation (because you want to take the nations oil but blame it on drug smuggling) is vile as well as breaking international law.

Damn it.
I knew that there would come a day when Melvyn Bragg wouldn’t host #InOurTime any more but I’m still very sad the day is here now (though happy for him that he got to make the decision for himself). I hope they find a replacement with as much gravitas and genuine interest as Bragg has had.

The current discussion/glee about “is he dead?” is making me want to re-watch The Death of Stalin SO BAD but I can’t because I have books that need to be read and also family visiting.
