A very informative ruling from a TX judge in the case of Liam Conejo, the detained American child.
Y'all really need to read the judge's ruling in this case

I haven't seen a judge this pissed off in a long time. Note the footnote referencing the Magna Carta.

Lawyers can't reach clients in ICE detention. I've heard it anecdotally, but scale of issue is horrifying.

Bloomberg Law is a legal trade pub so many may miss this. Screenshot from their CA newsletter summarizes "bleak" situation for justice and rule of law.

Are there no good guys in the tech industry?

Where's the protective technology that tech industry builds to keep People safe from predatory technology? Or is all tech bad tech that invades privacy & disregards civil rights?

It is going to take years---years!---to rebuild the United States Department of Justice after Trump is gone from office. A jewel of the justice system has been emptied out of institutional knowledge and wisdom.
This rules so hard. In law school I remember people who wanted to be federal prosecutors spending three years doing everything they could to be maybe, possibly be competitive for an AUSA job someday. Now you just need to hop on X the everything app and DM a guy named Chad.

Actions speak louder than words.

Tom Homan says he wants to do things differently, but we have yet to see meaningful change.

The only way to ensure the safety of the people of Minnesota is for the federal government to draw down their forces and end this campaign of brutality.

We are now in a full-blown constitutional crisis.

That’s why following the arrests of Don Lemon and Georgia Fort, I sent three separate letters demanding the dismissal of all charges, a congressional hearing, and a DOJ Inspector General investigation.
