Back from a wonderful 18 days in Newfoundland. We visited so many beautiful places and saw so many wonderful things. But the people themselves, they were the best part of it. So warm and welcoming and kind. I wish I could have bottled it and kept it close every time I read the news.

A few days ago we had some thick frost and the nuthatches were excited!
This red-breasted nuthatch was just about to check on the spruce seeds in this cone!

I have to say, I’m rather excited for the longer days and warmer weather that spring brings. Oh, and the bluebells!

Here’s a few captures from spring last year in a my local bluebell wood. I was pretty proud of the results!

That time when this lenticular cloud was still around 1 hour after sunset, right above this church next to my hotel. Only in Iceland.

If you follow my feed, you may see a recurring theme here...

Hi, I'm Maggie. I'm a reflection addict. 😄
I love reflections - in nature, in architecture, just about anywhere. I shot this from my lunch table at a café in Budapest in summer of 2023.

Show me one of your favorite reflection shots.

Howard has created a beautiful image of Bandon Beach. It's on my wish list, which never gets any shorter.
Fun at Bandon Beach, a photographer’s paradise. It’s always fun to get into the shallow water, though you need some boots. At Oregon beaches always have the your exit planned as the water rises.

Multiple exposure of a Daffodil. We are forecast for 6-8 inches of snow tomorrow night, so looking at these springtime beauties is more poignant. #multipleexposure #daffodil #eastcoastkin #spring

An image of incredible beauty!
This is why I love Patagonia! After a 3 am, 12 km hike to mount Cerro Torre, I was surrounded by drizzle & clouds. It was miserable. But just a few minutes later I was graced by the most beautiful light!

Spring is around the corner and this one reminds me of a nice spring day a couple of seasons ago.

Another gorgeous infrared! I love the clouds and the white lily pads. Okay, I love it all!
I love photographing lily pads in infrared. Especially at 720nm. It really brings the contrast, especially how water is rendered as very dark to black. Throw in some clouds and that's where the fun starts. #photography #ir #infrared #clouds #EastCoastKin
