Ember: I WANT TO BE ALONE! EVERYONE GO AWAY. Panel 3 Ember closes her bedroom door. There is a sign designating it as "EMBER'S LAIR". The writing on the sign was decided by Ember who wanted all potential intruders to have an a feel of dread they approach her domain. In Chinese #mythology, in the beginning, there was only chaos, until Pangu, a colossal being, cleaved it open with his axe.
Sky rose, earth sank, and for 18,000 years, Pangu stood between them, holding them apart as they expanded. When he finally died, his body did not vanish.
