Happy Friday!

Here's a fashion / swimwear story I shot for a local rag in my 20s, which I think was the tail end of the magazine explosion.

I was "classically (commercially) trained" so I always left room for text back then, but designers rarely took advantage of it.

All that's left for me on this list is Apple (will happen this month) and I still have an Instagram account, so Meta.

We’re canceling all streaming as part of #resistandunsubscribe, which means no more Apple Music, so I’m gonna start playing vinyl more. This morning needed jazz so it’s Miles Davis, Birth of the Cool.

Gonna check out the used shops this weekend. Any album recommendations?

Happy #humpday!
Shot this 20 years ago. If I recall, the model preferred anonymity so I shan't name him... and I think that beach ball came with an issue of some fashion mag. This was published in my 2009 book, "Shooting Male"

I still have those apple boxes. They served as tables at my wedding.

Anyone in / headed to / near Joshua Tree want to shoot (once it warms up)? Say hi.

Here's a shot of Jase that we shot in JTNP a few years back, had a lot of fun on that shoot.

This whole thing. Everything that’s happening is about riding the momentum and wave. There are so many people at different political levels. Some have been organizing for a long time, while others are brand new. This time is about supporting the energy to and get people engaged in a strike.

Amy submitted this print from our ”Striped World” collab to an auction to benefit asenseofhome.org and we’re very happy it received a few bids, the final donation being $250.

I’m looking for a 2006 Burning Man ticket to give to someone as a gift (he wants to frame all his old ticket stubs but is missing 2006). If anyone can help, give a shout.

A still from a piece with Amy Kaps (amykaps.com) in 2016 called "Palimpsest" where artist Flavio Bisciotti invited some of his artist friends to create art from his burned-down studio. Amy and I shot the work in his studio then framed it as a burnt, freestanding 2-panel piece found in the wreckage.

Had a hard drive failure which meant moving all my backups to a new drive, which always leads to me going through old stuff obsessively... And I found this portrait, which I shot in 2009 and I have no recollection of. Couldn't tell you who this is 😂 but tag him if you know him!
