1. Guarantee open and free science by law
2. Founding: Allocate €500 million (2025–2027) to attract global researchers + aim for 3% of GDP invested in R&D by 2030
3. Shorten the path from science to startup

Driving tip, especially at night: if a Roe Deer crosses the road in front of your car *slow down immediately*. There is almost certainly a 2nd one crossing behind it (and sometimes a 3rd) and if you don’t slow you’re likely to hit it. I learnt this lesson a few years ago and it’s saved a few deer.
