You are correct. That doesn’t help my pain. I have to live in hope.

Scotland is distinctive economically, legally, politically, culturally, …. It voted to stay in the EU and the potential for it to become independent means it is analytically inappropriate to simply lump it in with England when relations with Europe are being discussed.

Please remember that Scotland is different.
