I've seen some talks about why the ZL button exists on this GC controller but as if Nintendo didn't commit enough
The ZL button literally exists just so you can pause the emulator, use save states and switch games and do stuff.
That's the reason why the NSO controllers always have extra buttons.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is gonna be kinda sick because Nintendo makes good hardware.
