Planning ahead for if paypal tells me to kindly do one - I've been looking at Ko-fi.

If someone is paying with say, paypal or whatever, but I only have stripe, will it still work? This is probably such a silly question but I'm a born worrier.

"Okay if I get my ID sorted after the deadline, can I restore to full"

> same answer as previous three times

OK.
I've deleted the comm post, I need to go get some ID sorted which will take a month or so depending on what the ol' offices in charge decide.

Fuck me, honestly. NEW YEAR NEW PROBLEMS
Getting hit with the "ACTUALLY WHO ARE YOU???" after using paypal for years.

No visual ID (dont ask).
Can't use my account for shit all.

Thank you paypal thank you right when I take some comms.

Can confirm this is legit, as putting "commission" in an invoice title is what got me. Watch out if you use the platform, its not just scaremongering I'm afraid.
Commissioners and artists, be aware of this if you use the PayPal

Fireworks are still going off and this neurotic little nuggets reaction to stress is always to overeat until he throws up.

A cat after my own heart truly.

His name is George and both his mum and his grandmother are stressheads of the same vein.

There are people that helped me get through the past year in such profound, life-changing ways, with love and patience I never expected or knew of.

My goal for 2026 is to do better, to show them the fruit of their efforts and hopefully give them something to be proud of.

Time to put the work in!

You shake yourself awake in the cold North Atlantic water. You are not online. It is July of 1858. You are a baleen whale, and you have changed your mind. The future most not come to pass. The telegraph cable must break.

Based off an ancient sketch. In hindsight the values need pushing a lot more, it's a bit flat in places.

So much of my work for others involves conversations about intent, tone, emotions and feelings that come from the client themselves. That I then do my best to empathise with in the art. Robot vomit doesn't tell me what a clients inspiration is coming from. There needs to be that human connection.
Anyone who supports this is an embarrassment. "Instead of typing it out they'll generate their idea"? Are you insane?

Call yourself whatever you want but you aren't creatives, that's for sure.

We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

Concept Artists Say Generative AI References Only Make Their Jobs Harder
“The ‘early ideation stages’, when worlds are being fleshed out by writers and artists, are literally crucial to the development of a game’s vision,” said one artist.
