Howdy! I'm Khealos, AKA Sean Erik. My current WIP is "Break a Leg", an #urbanfantasy, and I'm almost done with my current round of revisions. Like 2 or 3 more chapters.

A6: I'm also in two charity anthologies, with all proceeds going to help feral cats and places that take care of them
"A Future for Ferals" and "More Futures for Ferals"
They make more money if you use this link instead of Amazon!

A5 weeeeelllll.... if you have Kindle Unlimited and you like flash fiction about vampires (or super heroes or villains or hell hounds ...), you could read a few pages or even just recommend a book to a friend ...

A4: Catch up with my planning, both writing and in the classroom. I have a graphic novel class that I haven't any idea where we're going. It's all new for everyone

A3 Another thing was, since I was already in midtown for the morning concert/interview, I stopped into St. Patrick's Cathedral to get my ashes. I haven't been in there in probably 15 years.

A3. Easy. I saw Ally the Piper at SiriusXM studio yesterday (ever hear Sweet Child O Mine on a bagpipe?)

And I made 12 cents on Kindle Unlimited -- someone liked my vampire pregnancy story -- Mom2be has a craving and Magnus (yes, my sweet) has get the baby the blood of a virgin

A2 Nothing specific. Just trying to focus. My students tell me I have too many side-quests, and I do try to do too much with too many different things (not just writing).
I got some grading done today (that's another struggle!)
I think I need to set mini-goals for stuff

A1 Well, I have this week off and the biting cold abated and the snow piles are starting to melt away. So that's all good.

I'm Christopher from Brooklyn. WIP is a compilation book (all the stories from 5 short books) with a few new ones added in

Writing week: I submitted a couple things in the past two weeks, and I found an overlooked rejection I got 2 weeks ago

A 315-word Ides of March betrayal challenge became 314 because I used Pi (being a math person)

Somehow, before publication, 3 words disappeared. So 311.

Spreadsheets are nice. They tell me a story was rejected after 290 days. Previous rejections from that market took 27 and 63 days. But no word whether it was under consideration all that time or if they were just slammed with submissions. (And you can blame AI for that.)

I finally have a second edition of Burke’s Lore Briefs #1 printed with a new cover (non-AI) and some typos fixed. And page numbers
Yeah, I was clueless back then

Chris from Brooklyn and I’m working on a couple of “new” stories to add to a compilation of the first 5 books of Burke’s Lore Briefs into, say, a Lore Library
And I have a potential title

This is why I keep a reading blog: Amazon sends an email. There's a free book that's #2 in a series. I check #1, which is also free and read the description. I see a made-up horror that conjures horrors from the dark recesses on my mind.

Missed writing opportunity here.
Almost to the point of being annoying, the author keeps saying “Three seconds passed” before the response is heard on the Moon.

This one time, he could’ve said:
Three seconds passed. Four. Five. Six…. Ten.
Jim said nothing.
