My working metaphor is if you imagine a bunch of boulders rolling downhill at you, some are bigger dangers than others and some could potentially get lodged and slow down others behind them. It doesn't make sense to blame the small boulders per day, but they're still part of the rock slide

I very much understand the appeal of Ground News if you're not up-to-date on vaguely where different outlets are coming from, but I'm kinda surprised it's the sort of thing people like Adam Conover or Hank Green would be promoting. Probably better to just hawk headphones or VPNs
