also from a purely technical standpoint, both conventionally attractive and conventionally ugly art have the exact same capacity to display technical skill and understanding of their mediums.
there is this very specific idea in a lot of fan circles of artistic mediums, and especially artistic mediums featuring stories about hot people, that characters looking semi-realistic and physically attractive is qualitatively, objectively "better" and that is what really chafes my dick.

I'm scared that a huge issue is not being aware:
On Aug 29th the US is removing the de minimis rule on all packages. Being international, de minimis meant no one payed tariffs on my goods since it was under $800. Now there will be a $80-200 fee to receive my art. Even for a $5 sticker. 🔸(1/4)
