Orbital’s version of the Doctor Who theme tune is the best version.

I will be taking no further questions.

With Stephen Luscombe and Dave Ball passing away in close succession it looks like the grim reaper has it in for the quiet synth players in 80's pop duos. Time to circle the wagons around Chris Lowe and Vince Clarke.

It's impossible to overemphasise the importance of Bob Lamb in the musical life of Birmingham. If he'd lived in Manchester or Liverpool he would've had his own South Bank Show. He made the better Kiss Me and the first Lilac Time album. Eternally grateful and sending love xsd

Thiel is 1. a crackpot, 2. incredibly self-serving, and 3. a living relic of apartheid South Africa with a platform.

So nothing we didn’t know but good to have it confirmed.
And boy does Thunberg get under these guys’ skin.

Doubts about both the dotcom bubble and the GFC started to gain traction in the mainstream media in October. The crashes started in the following March.

I think I'm seeing more articles questioning the AI boom. It's October. Just saying.

Conor Smith is an evil genius.
Gavin has shown himself unfit to be President. This is why we should let our current President take a third term, despite his age. Who cares what the constitution says.

I read so many people in the US are upset about Bad Bunny and the risk of hearing not-English at the Superbowl. Maybe next year the music act could be some old-time southern US traditional white people music...

Yet another article today in the Murdoch press in Australia where the tone is ‘all these wind turbines and solar farms will cover the country and there’ll be no room for anything else’.

Haven’t they checked out the size of Australia? It’s fucking huuuuge.

Meandering through various streaming services last night to find a film to watch, I came to the conclusion that we’ve passed the equi-Cage. It seems like over half of all films ever made have Nicholas Cage in them. I think he’s brilliant but it’s getting ridiculous.

I'm saddened by Stephen Luscombe's passing.

#Blancmange never were as big as the Pet Shop Boys or had the cult appeal of Soft Cell or The Associates. But they were true to themselves, made some cracking tunes and you can't ask for more than that.

“We’re going to back to that era when local TV stations, judging the public interest, get to decide what the American people think,” Carr added.

So Americans can’t think for themselves? The regime’s contempt for the people is clear.

When is America going to do something about this epidemic of white-on-white killing? I suggest surge policing or even deploying the National Guard to places where they gather e.g. country clubs, golf courses and Kid Rock concerts.

Took a spill off the bicycle this morning. Fortunately it was from a standing start so nothing more than a couple bruises. Not recommended.
