Corporate tax cuts.
Estate tax cuts.
Overseas income tax cuts.
Pass through business tax cuts.

These are all tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy that Trump wasn’t willing to let expire.

But ACA tax credits to protect health care? Forget about it.

If you engage in an insurrection to overturn an election on behalf of the president, you get a pardon.

If you illegally possess firearms, that too will be excused.

Trump’s actions are a dangerous invitation to lawlessness, if you use that lawlessness to keep him in power.

We found that a firm with deep ties to Kristi Noem secretly benefited from the deal.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

I had surgery today. Very fortunate to receive health insurance as a military retiree. Damn The Republicans for exploiting hunger as a political weapon so they can make health insurance inaccessible to people less fortunate than me.

Our assessment warned of this pattern: delegitimize investigators, glorify offenders, and erode trust in law enforcement until loyalty replaces the law.
Michael Fanone: "I hope no American has to experience what I experienced. I've gone from dedicating 20 years of my life to the profession of law enforcement only to become a victim of the DOJ and our criminal justice system and have nowhere to seek relief."

A judiciary afraid to state plain facts can’t safeguard the Constitution. That silence is evidence of judicial capture. Our assessment identifies this as a core indicator of authoritarian consolidation.
Every one of Trump’s 27 judicial nominees refused to say Trump lost in 2020. They all dodged with the same line: "President Biden was certified."

Josh Orton: "These were political loyalty tests. If they told the truth, Trump would pull their nominations."

The oil and gas industry has reaped profits without ensuring there will be money to plug and clean up their wells. In Oklahoma, that work could cost more than $7 billion if it falls to the state.
