Oct 30 is Adoptee Remembrance Day. you might not immediately understand why this is necessary, but studies have shown that adoptees are almost 4x more likely to die by suicide than nonadopted people. pls take a minute to think about the people we've lost and the ones who continue to suffer 💛 🥚

Oct 30 is Adoptee Remembrance Day. you might not immediately understand why this is necessary, but studies have shown that adoptees are almost 4x more likely to die by suicide than nonadopted people. pls take a minute to think about the people we've lost and the ones who continue to suffer 💛 🥚

Went to a taxi stand to find 6 cabs parked, driverless, around 13:30 today.
Asked a guy on a bench nearby where everyone went. He points across the street and says: they're at the Mosque.
My heart burst as it broke.
Got on the metro and delivered my mikvah fees to Temple on time anyway. 1/
