I LOVE Mitchell Hooks <3 <3 <3
Old pulp illustration, (and adjacent imagry) and how loose and painty it looks is such a huge inspiration for me. And Hooks is one of my all time favourites in that category. (Possibly actually my favourite, full stop.)

Good news! Those texture issues werent being caused by that HD Textures Mod -- It was being caused by an earlier texture replacement I installed, because I wasnt sure that HD Textures would change as much. Actually, the HD Textures is worse! Looking at some of these images is astounding.

Everyone looks so sweaty... Brad Dourif kind of looks like he rocks it though.
The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.
