I repeat: we should be adopting a full-on war footing against this threat. Structural economic and diplomatic shift away from the US, as much as possible, and a massive investment in military personnel expansion, training, and equipment.

There's literaly an mRNA vaccine to treat pancreatic cancer in the works. It's shown promising results in a Phase 1 trial. Most people with pancreatic cancer are dead within 5 years. It's what killed Patrick Swayze.
A bill banning gene-based vaccines, like some forms of the COVID-19 vaccine, received approval from a Senate subcommittee Monday.
