Going up the Gloria is one of my favourite things in Lisbon, I've done it so many times over lots of trips there. This is so awful to see.
It continues to be an absolute treat to watch Venus Williams at 45 years old play some sublime tennis, best part of a decade after most of her contemporaries usually hang up their racquets. She's through to the third round of the US Open women's doubles with Leylah Fernandez. Just utterly joyful.
